Madisonville has the most exotic location of the summer for its final volleyball tournament.
The Lady Mustangs will compete in the Disney World KSA 2022 Volleyball Fall Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Madisonville will open play against Florida’s Boca Raton Christian at 12:30 p.m. CDT on Friday. (All times listed here are Central Daylight times)
Madisonville’s seven-team bracket will include three matches each on Friday and Saturday. On the opening day, the Lady Mustangs also play Orlando’s The First Academy at 2 p.m. They then take on New York’s Scarsdale High School at 3:30.
Saturday matches begin at 9:30 a.m. against Georgia’s North Hall. They meet Carmichaels (Pennsylvania) at 11 a.m. and Rancocas Valley Regional High School (Mount Holly, New Jersey) at 12:30 p.m.
It is a round-robin tournament with the finish determined by win-loss record, head-to-head and a series of tie-breakers.
Six other Texas school are in the competition overall, but not in Madisonville’s bracket — Houston Sterling, Richardson Pearce, Granbury , Giddings and Ysleta.
All matches are at the Orange County Convention Center.
