BRYAN – Keller senior Cole Koeninger is the player of the year on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 6A all-state baseball team.

The right-hander was 12-1 on the mound with a 1.13 earned run average with 138 strikeouts in 80 1/3 innings. The 6-foot-3, 213-pounder who signed with Tennessee also played shortstop, batting .432 with nine home runs and 30 runs batted in.
