Jaylen Harrison, a 5-10 guard from A&M Consolidated High School, signed with Navarro College and will play basketball for coach Grant McMillan’s Bulldogs.

Harrison averaged 19 points, 1.5 assists and two steals for coach Andrew Dailey’s 24-9 Tigers, which advanced to the Class 5A area playoffs. The District 19 Offensive MVP earned TABC All-Region honors and was named a member of The Bryan-College Station Eagle’s All-Brazos Valley first team.

Harrison scored 30 or more points on three occasions during his senior season, including a season-high 39 in an 86-75 playoff loss to Hutto. Consol was the co-champion of District 19-5A.
