BRENHAM — The College Station Lady Cougars defeated Brenham 2-0 Tuesday night at Cub Stadium.

Thirteen minutes into the high school soccer match, Olivia Riechman scored on a rebounded shot.  Then, in the final two minutes of the contest, Riechman scored again after receiving a well-placed ball from Olivia Fox.

College Station had several other quality opportunities, but were denied by strong play from Brenham goalkeeper Ashlyn Wells.

The Cougar defense and keeper Keira Herron recorded the shutout for the Cougars, the third in a row for College Station.

In JV action, College Station won 7-1 over the Cubettes.

Kelsey Slater and Sarah Del Río had two goals apiece, with Robin Loopstra, Kylie McRaven, and Camilla Del Río adding one each. Loopstra, both Del Rios
and Shaley Lewis each recorded an assist.

The next action for College Station (7-6) will be Friday at home against Katy Paetow. The JV will begin at 5 p.m., with the varsity following at 7.
